Children’s Hearings Scotland’s (CHS) highest priority is to ensure that wherever possible children’s hearings take place so that Panel Members can continue making essential decisions to protect and promote the welfare of Scotland’s infants, children, and young people, whilst ensuring the health and safety of volunteers and staff.

This guidance sets out how to ensure continuing operation of effective children’s hearings when government guidance restricts social contact to slow and minimise the spread of coronavirus in Scotland.
