Yesterday, the sad news was announced that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away peacefully at her Balmoral Estate in Scotland. The Queen led a life dedicated to public service and our thoughts are with her family at this time.

As the nation enters into a mourning period, our partners in the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service have announced all Scottish courts will be closed today.

Children’s Hearings will continue as usual over the coming days although hearings in Edinburgh may be impacted by road closures.
